FREEDOM RIDE
The Freedom Ride - is a ride on horseback from Independence, TX to San Antonio,
TX.  The ride will start in Independence, TX on Friday June 26th and be just outside San
Antonio on July 3rd.  On July 4th we will go to The San Antonio Tea Party.  This is our way of
standing together and saying we have had enough.  Enough of trampling on the US
Constitution and the Godly values our founding fathers established this nation on and the
excessive spending by an out-of-control Federal Government.  Saddling up and riding for our
liberty.

Why Independence?  The word itself evokes a sense of pride within ones spirit.  The
Texas Independence Trail Region is the heritage region of Texas that personifies the struggle
and epic events endured by legendary men & women.  Home of the oldest university in
Texas, Baylor started in Independence with a mission to educate folks.  They knew that
educating and information causes folks to make sound choices.  We would like to follow their
lead and help to educate and inform so that our children/grandchildren enjoy the same rights
that we have enjoyed.

Why San Antonio?  The Alamo is where 186 men stood their ground for freedom.
Could you think of a better place for us to make our stand to hold on to that freedom that so
many have died for us to have?

As the plans for this ride develop, we will continue updating this page with daily routes and
maps so be sure & check back for more information.  You can also go to our Broken Trails
Ministries page on this site, sign our guest book and ask your questions on the comment line.
We are really looking forward to this ride, we will be meeting up with other organizations from
across Texas from all walks of life.  We will all stand together to help reach our common goal.
Our founding fathers wisely did not separate God from state; they acknowledged God as the source of our
human rights.  Don't let our human rights be taken away!
